Everything you need to know to use TopTip Drive efficiently – simple, practical and easy to follow.
🚀 First Steps
After registration you receive your login details by email:
- URL: https://cloud.toptip-85.de
- Username: your chosen username
- Password: your password
Tip: Change your password after first login under Settings → Security.
- Left side: your folders & files
- Top area: “+” button to upload or create files
- Top right: profile & settings
Tip: Use a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) for best performance.
📝 Creating & Editing Documents
Create a new document
- Click the “+” button
- Select:
- New document (text)
- New spreadsheet
- New presentation
- The editor opens automatically
- Changes are saved automatically
Open existing files
Click a file such as .docx, .xlsx or .pptx and it opens in the editor.
Compatibility: DOCX, XLSX and PPTX formats are widely supported (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
📁 Uploading & Managing Files
Upload files
Method 1: Drag & Drop – simply drag files into the browser.
Method 2:
- Click “+”
- Select “Upload file”
- Choose file from your computer
Browser upload limit: up to 5 GB per file.
Folder & File Management
- Create folder: “+” → New folder
- Move files: Drag & drop
- Download: Right-click → Download
- Delete: Right-click → Delete (recoverable from trash)
📱 Mobile Use (Smartphone & Tablet)
Browser access
Open https://cloud.toptip-85.de in your mobile browser.
- View/download files
- Upload photos
- Manage folders
- Editing documents may be limited
Nextcloud App
- iOS: App Store → “Nextcloud”
- Android: Play Store → “Nextcloud”
Setup:
- Server: https://cloud.toptip-85.de
- Enter username & password
- Done
Tip: For longer work sessions, a desktop computer is usually more comfortable.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change my password?
Profile (top right) → Settings → Security → enter new password.
I forgot my password
Email support@toptip.de with your username.
How much storage do I have left?
Your used storage is shown at the bottom left.
Can I restore deleted files?
Yes – open “Deleted files” and restore.
Can I upload files larger than 5 GB?
Yes – via sync client, WebDAV or optional SFTP.
Can I sync with my computer?
Yes – using the Nextcloud Desktop Client.
Are my data encrypted?
Transfers are encrypted (HTTPS/SSL). Data is stored on secure German servers.
How can I upgrade my account?
Email support@toptip.de with your desired plan.
